If you have a rainy day, and you are visiting Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania one fascinating spot is called Construction Junction. This interesting spot is located on the outskirts of Wilkinsburg. This is a unique non-profit, warehouse-sized store that offers discounted building materials and architectural salvage. Once inside, visitors quickly discover just how expansive the space really […]
A few weeks ago, I watched my wife break down in tears. It was a heartbreaking moment. A financial hardship had hit our family, really hard, and we were unable to afford to send our son to summer camp this year. Although the camp had generously offered to provide him with a scholarship, the thought […]
I recently spoke with Evan Alexius, the Assistant Coach for the Men’s Ice Hockey team at Bethel University. Evan grew up playing at the highest, most competitive youth levels. He began playing hockey on wheels in Northern California before moving on to junior ice hockey in the North American Hockey League (NAHL). His playing career […]
Have you ever heard of a person going to a buffet? I am sure you have. It’s a term we commonly use in the United States to refer to a large collection of food, both hot and cold, where you can pick and choose any number of items. Like a food buffet, I am metaphorically […]
Is anyone else also in a season of unemployment? If so, I hope my personal insight brings you some encouragement. I’ve been unemployed for a few months. Although I thought I had a promising lead a few weeks ago, it fell through. I’ve spent weeks sending resumes, writing cover letters, and filling out applications, but […]
Recently, I felt the Lord wanted me to create an end-times survey and hit the streets to gather perspectives on several key questions regarding Revelation 13. Here are the exact questions I used for the interviews: My Interview Experience with Frank, Frank, and Bill After finally getting out there and talking to people, I spoke […]
I’ve known Matt for about 23 years, having first met him back when I was an undergraduate student. We became immediate friends. Looking back, it’s funny to remember how he would sometimes tag along and sit in on my college classes, even though he wasn’t actually enrolled at the school. Matt had previously attended Penn […]
We are nearing a point of no return where only two choices will remain. Accept a mark on the right hand or forehead, or be cast out of society as a vagabond. There will be no alternative choices. Some, however, may opt to get both the forehead mark and the hand mark to remain complicit […]

Thad’s Welcome Note to Visitors
Welcome! My name is Thad, and I am made in the image of God. I am a follower of Jesus. I am thankful to Him for giving me many unique opportunities and abilities. As my leader, He is the guide for my path. He goes before me and ahead of me, and He prepares a way for me. He is the guide who not only provides life but also purpose, curiosity, and interest. I am nothing without Him, and yet I am something because of Him. Thank you, Jesus!
In the New Testament, Jesus says not to put His teachings into our pocket and only use them on some days. He wants us to incorporate His instruction into every step and breath that we take. That is why, on this landing page, it is my sole purpose to illustrate a deep desire that in all things, and in all ways, He is the guidance that gives me purpose and direction. There is no plan B. There is no other option. There is no other reason to be the best version of myself that I can be.
Psalms 139:14 says that we are each fearfully and wonderfully made. The way He made me is different from the way He made you. He instilled in me many creative attributes, and I am the happiest when I am making something. Whether that is visual artwork or writing, I like to make and produce things. On my website, I have numerous examples of things I have made over the years, including the active writing I am doing on the blog. Please feel free to look around and subscribe to my newsletter, or leave a message.
